Hey mum, what was the morning of your wedding like? I'm excited and so nervous about today.

It was super hectic! I only had 2 hours to get my make-up and hair done and ofcourse I had opted for an up-do with tons of curling that had to be done. With my thick hair it took ages - i only had about 20 minutes to get my dress and shoes on. I missed opening the door to my soon to be husband (it’s a small tradition in our country) and he was already in the house when I walked down the stairs. Still, I’ll never forget the look on his face when he saw me for the first time or how utterly handsome he looked in his rented suit. We then had to rush to get to the wedding venue as the wedding mini bus we had hired would leave from there. My parents ended up going the wrong way and were late so we ended up a bit late at town hall also due to being stuck in Saturday morning traffic! But they didn’t mind at all. So many tiny things went wrong but so many big things went perfect. In the grand scheme of things it just doesn’t matter what went wrong, you will always look back fondly to this day.
