Will never forget this movie. This was released when I was in highschool and our own department of education actually recommended that students should watch this movie. So our teachers arranged that this movie will be shown in a cinema close to our school(2-3km away). This is in the province btw. Most of the students agreed to watch the movie during school time. Our school is pretty big with about 1K student total and I believe 80% had agreed to watch the movie.

The problem is there is also another high school near that cinema. As you know for highschools, there are always rivalry among the boys. So after the movie, there was a big fight that happened outside the cinema. The boys from the highschool near the cinema were all positioned outside the exit so after the movie, they started attacking the senior males. It was a nasty riot-like event where even the teachers were involved. It ended up as a historic event for highshool students in our school because we had inflicted more damage than the resident boys....all because of the movie ANAK....
