Alright, I have a story for you.

Back in 2002 I was 12 and in 7th grade. It was my good friends birthday and we were in Language Arts where the teacher had made a habit out of having the class sign a birthday card for each student on their birthday. The card was circulating around the class and arrived in front of me. My group of friends had just been beginning to explore the internet and had discovered urban dictionary. Among the many depraved sex acts we read of was, "The Shocker" a seemingly more reasonable act that my friends and I had taken a certain fondness to. We thought it hilarious, more in an immature enjoyment of the sexually absurd, than in any true desire for performing it or anything like that. Even as I scrawled the tidings: "I hope you have a shocking birthday" on the card, I stifled laughter. Next I drew, with a pious concentration, a hand posed in the shocker, it's pinky finger proudly poised, ready for all of the glory of penetrating a balloon knot. The card passed and I waited anxiously for my friend to see it at the end of the day. While sitting in lunch sometime later the principle of the school walked stiffly up to the table I sat at and called to me and another boy, "JoeInTheBean, Dan, follow me to my office right now please." He was stern and I stood up quietly not knowing what had happened. It was then shortly after that I was being shown a birthday card and the principle was indicating that I had signed my name underneath a perverse hand gesture. The other boy, Dan, had seen my artwork and message and had made some reference to it as well in his message to our friend in his birthday card. After I admitted my guilt I was sentenced to a week of suspension. The phrase, "sex offender" was mentioned while I was being questioned by administrators and teachers. I was just a 12-year-old who thought that the shocker was funny. It made me learn a great deal about how the world worked. I was pigdeon holed as a bad kid for the rest of my time in middle school, always under the scrutiny of certain teachers while treated apathetically by many others. There were a few others who seemed to see it it for what it was, stupid behavior from a preteen boy. It wasn't until I was at a very respectkable college in the North East, in a dorm room late at night and slipping that poised pinky into a coeds ass at her request while two others were in her "pink" as it is so eloquently spoken on urban dictionary as I had read so many years ago that I felt
