I don't believe a book tells you where you go. If that's what you would like to believe a "heaven" or "hell", you're certainly welcome to it. I'm firm on making the best out of the life you have been given and celebrating your birthdays more heartily. I don't say this in a vain fashion I mean with togetherness as you see fit but as a celebration of your given life day. I don't see much happening when we die and I'm okay with that. I'm okay with it being like sleeping and not waking up. It is what it is and there's so sense "fearing what is". I say make your life as "heavenly" or as "hellish" with your free will. It's ultimately up to you if you would like your life to be a positive experience. Or you can rather spend your life fearing what is to come and not make the best out of what you already have.
