Hi. I'm Beto O'Rourke, a candidate for President.

Hey.

Do you think pandering to the extremes works in the candidates who does so favor?

People wanting open border crossings, or for that matter, closing it entirely.

I get that trump is extreme in these things, it worked for him, but it seems the opposition doing the same is being used against them.

Trump saying "the four horsewomen" when they are advocating big changes and trying to make them the face of the democratic party.

You banning the most common rifle while more dangerous ones are still allowed, albeit not as popular.

Yang giving everyone 1000 dollars.

Yet the most popular candidate the dems have now is Biden, is this maybe because is does not propose such radical changes? Are politicians in it for the long haul or do they think these ideas is what the voters want?

I really do think the backlash you got over your gun statements did you more bad than good.

Did you think it would end well, did you make a mistake, or did you say it because you mean it, caring more about your ideas than the presidency?

Sorry for the typos im not american, i do read about the politics sometimes tho.
