Hi I'm Tish Ellis. I am a high conflict coparent specialist. AMA

Not really a counseling ask, but more of a “in your professional opinion” question:

I have an ongoing custody issue where the mother intentionally alienates my daughter and the step-father has anger issues that have led to abuse of my daughter (at the least). Any time there is something the mother wants to take my daughter to that is during our custody time, we either have to concede time for that event to the mother or they will stalk, harass, and threaten us during the course of our visitation.

So, dumb question I’m sure, but can situations like this actually be resolved by mediators and specialist like you? We had to do custody agreement mediation and it took four hours, most of which was her screaming at the mediator so loud my lawyer and I could hear her down the hallway.
