Hi. So i made a post about my "family" having ocd/germophobia and yes i lost my temper again.

You seem like a reasonably smart kid so here's my two cents. Amma showing signs of OCD and not seeking professional support is draining and challenging but trust me being around that is better than having a mother that is terminally ill or an alcoholic or having a full blown psychosis or a physically abusive mother who just ignores your welfare completely. Chemical intervention for OCD is usually recommended for someone who is incapable of carrying out normal daily routine so for example a client of mine used to scratch himself when he saw any kind of bug/fly in and around his personal space. He would keep scratching breaking his skin, bleeding out and would continue for hours and would not stop unless we intervened. So your mom wiping things with a disinfectant is not actually that bad and would be considered sanitization especially during covid. And for the uncle walking around half naked, I'm sure it's not a pleasant view so look away because as long as he is not purposely flashing anyone, touching himself inappropriately there is no grounds for legal proceedings. And you being frustrated and angry is normal for your age but then how you handle that reflects on how you handle everything thrown at you in the future when you step out into the real world and when shit hits the fan. I'm guessing you're under 20 getting that mighty surge in all kinds of hormones so channeling your anger towards yourself and others will get you into trouble so distract yourself by working out or reading. You don't need a gym or weights, when you're pissed off use all that energy and drop down and do push ups, burpees, bw squats, planks and crunches. Make a point to read everyday, even if its just 5 pages everyday and set a goal to finish a book within a given timeline. This will eventually make you look good, feel healthy, smart and grounded. Take ownership of your thoughts and emotions, acknowledge it and work towards making yourself a better man or else there won't be any difference between you and the family that you resent. It's going to be alright young man, cheers.
