Distrokid is basically just a website that you upload your music to, then it automatically posts it to all of your social media pages and YouTube for you, for a monthly fee. If you are still in the beginning stages of production, there is no need to pay a company a monthly service fee to upload your songs to youtube. If you are serious about making music as a career, produce a whole album all by yourself, upload it to YouTube for free, if you get a satisfying number of views, create a 2nd album, upload it to Distrokid and try to monetize your music.

Tldr: No, don't buy a Distrokid subscription unless you are a professional musician who has already had great success on YouTube. (over 1000 subscribers to monetize)
