hidden in my potato hole

Y’see, this is where I get confused.

As an American, I get Irish-Americans/German-Americans/Italian-Americans etc. celebrating their heritage with street festivals, sharing their ancestors’ food/music and whatnot.

But what is ‘white pride’? That just seems like a very amorphous, indistinct term. Are we going to celebrate the feudal system by building a castle on Staten Island, or recreate the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel on the side of a building?

What are you specifically proud of and how would you celebrate it? Because there’s a very strong historical precedent for ‘white pride’ just being an excuse to act like dicks to people who don’t look the same as you.
