Don't get me wrong, I respect doctors a lot, but I don't like your attitude. I researched drugs and suggested it to our shared house doctor, which he then suggested to the ICU. The ICU was not using these drugs before my house doctor suggested them. Had they given these drugs to prevent him getting critically ill, he might not even have had to spend time at the hospital. Or if they gave him a Corona test.
I'm sorry you handle some aggressive idiots, but like the poster below, you are projecting previous experiences on a person you don't know at all. Maybe instead of waving threats and knives around, they could have sent you studies, well researched, like from PubMed.
Actually, in China where the situation is under control, they give these drugs to high risk group patients BEFORE they develop serious symptoms, to make the disease less infectious faster and decrease probability of needing significantly more medical care. And mark my words this will be done here soon as well. But hurr durrp opinion from some online idiot durp durp. I spend hours every week researching in medical journals, it's a big hobby of mine.
Once Belgium ends up in this situation and you read in your treatment guidelines that treatment must start if highly suspected even without testing available or after a positive test without critically ill condition will be what you have to do, think of me what I said this day/
PS to anyone reading this, don't think about using these drugs yourself. It might kill you. Several people have already died in USA taking it themselves. Don't do it. This is not my recommendation anyone self-medicate.
