things that increase confidence:

  1. Career. if i didn't have enjoy my career which is where i spend 8 hours a day. also, my side business gives me more confidence since i enjoy it and its a challenge. when i was unemployed, i lost all confidence and motivation to socialize.
  2. Clothing. Get fitting and nice looking clothes. It'll change how you feel about yourself and change others' perception of you.
  3. Hygiene and grooming. Obviously, if you look or smell bad, then it'll reduce confidence. But looking and smelling good gives you the go ahead to socialize with others without them looking disgusted by you.
  4. Fitness. When you're in shape and fit, you feel more confident.
  5. Learn social dynamics. We feel most confident in things that we understand, so when it comes to socializing, read books and read TRP to understand how social dynamics work (48 laws of power, art of seduction, the manual, models, no more mr nice guy, and how to win friends and influence people should be required reading for social skills)
  6. Practice socializing. Self-explanatory. More experience = more confidence.
  7. Have some hobbies or activities that you enjoy, other than video games, internet browsing, or TV.
  8. Have bros you can rely on and look forward to spending time with. Relationships are crucial to your health.
