High School Student Looking For A Bioscience Internship

You’d be surprised what you can do at home for little money. I’m the same age and have a makeshift lab at my home using a glovebox which is basically a file box with two holes cut in it sprayed with disinfectants. I mainly use it for growing mushrooms (check out my YouTube channel KniggeMicroscope some of the videos are kindof low effort but I’m about to post a really good one about storing cultures) But the same equipment can be used for microbiology. Doing it for cheap and at home, even though you obviously won’t be able to what an extremely well funded lab can, will teach you so much about why and how things are done. Expensive lab equipment can distract, in my opinion, from the true learning experience achieved by trial and error at home
