High stakes poker is back

He really bossed those games around roughly 2008-2010. Watching those episodes now with the benefit of hindsight and advances in the game, it seems like he just played a typical aggro style and the other players failed to adjust. At the time though, he seemed godly. He was really the first of a new breed and the first guy from my generation to become a household name in the game. I really hope they bring him back.

I'm wondering if Negreanu and Hellmuth will jump in? They would be dogs in any probable lineup, but their egos may not allow them to sit it out. Who else could we see? Mr. Ivey? Gus? Maybe some of the businessmen high stakes circuit regs? Perkins? Talal? Klein? Katz? Rick Salomon?

I have to imagine that the Bobby's Room regs will be itching to get a seat. I'm guessing they'll find a spot for Jungleman, Trueteller, and some of those other sickos.

What's interesting is that in a post-PokerStars and Full Tilt era, there aren't be as many losing name brand players buoyed by sponsorship money, so the games should be tougher with fewer marks. It should be fun.
