The High Street Moisturisers Reviews

Name of product: Simple KTS Vital Vitamin Day Cream SPF 15

Price of product: £2.50 for 50ml

Where did you purchase: Superdrug on half price offer

Product claims: "The Simple Kind To Skin range offers everything from daily cleansers and moisturisers to occasional treats such as face masks. Formulated with vitamin goodness ...

A perfect blend of multi-vitamins and skin-loving ingredients with SPF protection to keep your skin moisturised and protected from UVA & UVB rays. It also gives you hydration for 12 hours, perfect even for sensitive skin."

About you: Sensitive eczematous skin which is easily dried out, first fine lines. ETA I have mild papulopustular rosacea. Purchased because I am slightly obsessed with niacinamide, and was intrigued by the combination of bisabolol and ginger root extract which both have anti aging properties.

Your opinion: The tub packaging is not the most hygienic nor protects the antioxidants. This cream goes on with a white cast and does not initially massage in easily. However go about your business for a few minutes and the moisturiser soaks in without visible residue. It is non greasy yet reasonably hydrating and I have not experienced any irritation. I did not enjoy using it and this has ended up in the back of the bathroom cabinet, shame because it has some nice actives for the price.
