Highest ever poll total predicting Scottish independence

I don’t think this asked the outright standard question of “Should Scotland be an independent country?”, with “yes” and “no” as possible responses.

Correct - they appear to have asked the respondents what they thought the outcome of a referendum would be, rather than how they personally would vote in said referendum.

It's an interesting result in terms of public sentiment, but the fact that someone believes that other people are going to vote for something isn't the same thing as saying that you are going to be voting for it.

In the long run however, I don't think it really matters. Scotland is clearly moving towards consistent and sustained support for independence, and I rather think the game is up for the UK in the next 5-10 years.
