Highlights from Xell's ama

I wish him the best of luck, but I think we all saw this coming in a way. The actual off-stream OfflineTV content has essentially been abandoned, and that was sort of Xell and MarkZ's deal afaik. Why are they wasting their time and energy trying to work on something that these streamers and their management don't want to make time for? I don't blame them of course, the streams and shipping shit has been super lucrative.

I think OfflineTV came to a crossroads. One side was forget the off stream content, even if that was the initial intention of forming the group to begin with, because the effort it requires doesn't equate the amount of money it could potentially pull in; or just boost every individual streamer under the OfflineTV tag and rake it that way. They chose the one that basically makes Xell and MarkZ kind of obselete, as harsh is that sounds. How can they do their jobs if they aren't given work to work with?

It's 100% not as simple as that, and I'm probably way off base, but that's what I took away from Josh's stream. Management isn't cooperating or organizing to get off-stream content done; it caused friction with behind the scene team members and now there's a fall out. :(
