Hiking with Kevin. Kevin Nealon has a YouTube channel where he interviews celebs while hiking and only has 20k subs.

I don't think your question is unfair, because yes, it's pretty much the same format as Comedians in cars. But for the most part, the format isn't what makes the show. It's the content.

For instance, Is Key n Peele a rip off of the Chappelle show? I argue no. The format is definitely the same, but the content is straight from Key n Peele. You don't watch the show because you like the fact that they stand out in front a studio audience to setup their bits, you watch it because the bits themselves are entertaining. However, I know that Dave Chappelle has been a little salty about Key n Peele and has been quoted as saying that his feelings get hurt when he sees "Created by Key n Peele" at the end of their show in the credits. Which I kind of think is bullshit. They did CREATE that show, the show is the sketches not the format, Dave didn't write those jokes, Dave didn't come up with those ideas they did. So while they definitely piggy backed off the format I myself wouldn't call it a ripoff.

Most everything is deritivate, being original doesn't make something good. But to your point, there is a line somehwere. I'm not exactly sure how you define that line but I don't think this show crosses it.
