This hilarious individual i saw at a stop light today

Yup, my commute to work in a less populated area can differ by 20 minutes based on the traffic I get stuck behind and subsequent stop lights I get caught at. Driving is one of the only topics which I have a very strong opinion about.

I can understand going 10 MPH under the posted speed if the environment warrants so, but I can not stand elderly, distracted, or inconsiderate drivers who fail to go the posted speed, fail to use their blinkers, drive at or below the speed limit in the left lane with no intention of turning or passing. It is even worse when they are obviously in the wrong, you go to pass or honk at them, and then they become aggressive and do things like ride your ass, honk persistently, flash their brights, or try and get you to run off the road. I encounter one or more of the previous four situations each commute.

This is not 1940 anymore. People have places to go and have to be mobile to keep the world spinning. You can't just decide to drop down to 30 MPH in a 55 zone just to look at the pretty scenery or stop at a light/stop sign for 20 minutes to talk to your neighbor/friend/family member. Delays could result in food, medicine, and other goods being late resulting in waste or fines which are just passed to consumers or if could be the difference between someone getting to the hospital on time to save their life.

If your vehicle or personal health prevents you from safely operating a vehicle around others, then you should not be operating said vehicle around others. I don't care if you are 70 and like your independence when you go to your nightly bingo game or if you are a 20 year old who spent more on your radio and rims than your broken-ass 1995 Honda Civic.
