Hillary Clinton Gave a Very Confusing Answer About the Minimum Wage During Thursday’s Debate

Bernie said the same thing over and over. "Climate Change is an enemy we must treat as a war!" (which is true, but what is your answer) he didn't have an answer for the energy questions, for replacing the 20% of our total power that is nuclear, or even the smaller coal percentages. He did not mention, nor has he ever mentioned, how he plans to make college free for everyone and what is going to do about people who are currently coming out of school with massive debt. Retroactive measures? No. He's gonna tax "wall street" to finance the entire college reform, to make the educated class pay for the uneducated, only so they can become educated, only to be taxed to hell once their money is made.

He continuously repeated that we are the only major country who doesn't guarantee healthcare to all citizens, etc... European countries are doing it so much better. But what he doesn't mention is that they are taxed a minimum of 40-45%. Families over there are not building wealth, it is a perpetual "middle class" that has a glass tax ceiling. I don't think they realize that capitalism and a free market is the sole reason why the U.S. has prospered and why there are massive entities to tax to high heaven. People dreams of getting rich or starting their own business is slowly disappearing at the threat of European level income tax and massive government.

And let's not take the element of personal responsibility out of this equation. If people pay $100k for a liberal arts degree which gives no real skills or qualifications, and for which there is no demand, that's not ENTIRELY the fault of the university that person voluntarily attended. Yes tuition is outrageous, and so are student loans, I know from personal experience, but I'll be damned if I'm going to act like I didn't know what I was doing in taking those loans out. A lot of the reason that tuition keeps soaring, is because of the cycle that happen when graduates who have shit degrees can't pay their loans, which causes a shift of the burden to be carried by higher and higher tuitions... I could go on but Bernie isn't the one and socialism is not the way.
