I have a crazy idea that if pot was legal, maybe then inner cities could have gardening programs to teach people how grow pot and various vegetables. So many details, but, most everyone eats vegetables and a ton of people like weed and maybe having hands learning with real outcomes could be a game changer.

Maybe it isn't right, or the first thing that needs to happen, but dang it sure seems like an idea worth trying on a small scale ( sorry for the pun not intentional).

Weed and food gives people hope, something to care for, something to bond over, a reason to become disciplined. Vacant lots can be developed into green houses and maybe eventually even pot shops. Legalizing will evetually make it harder for kids to get it.

In high school, aquiring alcohol or tobaccco was very difficult, yet if you wanted pot it was just a matter of asking some stoners.

Anybody else have thoughts on this far fetched idea? It would take a lot of planning and need refining and a ton of legal foot work...but... it just seems like an idea that could move bad neighborhoods into a better direction.

Take money away from gangsters, make local food and local pot a community thing for people to rally around.
