If her intention is to close all the differences between herself and Bernie and hope her name recognition will be the tie-breaker, this is a bad move.
She is proud of herself able to reap in benefits and make wall street friends and then dispose of the baggage when it matters (in popularity). Just like every other decision she flip flopped.
Doing this she hopes to achieve 2 objectives.
Be smug, it is difficult to resist. Give herself and her supporters ammunition to be make "we flip flop when we want, what you gonna do" snide at Bernie's supporters
Hoping no one will notice she is flip flopping and thinks she is at the right side of history, like Bernie always do.
Notice how they contradicts each other? She can only achieve one of them.
Lets be honest, anyone ITT lost sleep over TPP?
No one cares about TPP, we only knows TPP is bad because Bernie/Warren said so. People are against TPP only because they want to be like Bernie and people like that Bernie are not brought by wall street and corporations. If Bernie tells me TPP is good for everyone, I will buy it, just like minimum wages.
Majority of the voters knows too little of TPP to have an opinion to support Hillary just because she is "against" TPP.
While she is trying to [appear to] be on right side of history, all she managed is to be on Bernie's side.
There are 2 types of people, people who are informed and people who are not informed. Informed population will be informed enough to know she flip flopped. The uninformed population doesn't care about anyone's stand on TPP.
Lets pretend for a moment TPP is actually the best policy ever for American and Bernie got it wrong, but she is overeager to be similar to Bernie and missed an opportunity to be correct for even 1 time.
