Hillary Clinton says 'violent' video games proven to cause violence in people. Demands they be regulated like alcohol and tobacco.

First, if you don't think that sex education and free contraception reduce teen pregnancy, then I don't think we have anything to say to one another. You've decided what you believe and you are going to choose to ignore or downplay any facts that contradict your world-view.

Second, the issue with Hispanics immigrating to the United States is complicated. The biggest issue is that Republicans remain the only major conservative party in the world to deny that climate change is real and man made which is their rational for not increasing regulation or spending more on alternative energy. As a result of this and the fact that many 3rd world countries are industrializing and definitely cannot afford renewable energy, global warming is going to increase and deaths related to global warming are going to increase - especially in those countries near the equator where it is the hottest, and especially in those countries that will have more people going hungry due to the resultant famine. As a result, the United States is likely to have to further close it's Southern border because Mexicans will be fleeing North to not die, but the United States will not be able to take all of them in. That's awful, but we will try to allow as many in as is economically feasible.

However, only about 55% of Mexicans are still Roman Catholic despite the vast majority of those in Mexico being Catholic. This is because the United States is a plural country with many different religious beliefs. Plus, hispanics have proven to be very adaptable - particulary in second and third generations. If you only look at 3rd generation or above Hispanics, their demographics are only slightly higher for Catholicism and they are almost as likely to be agnostic, atheist, or spiritual as white people. Even among that 55%, that is mostly a self-identifier as they, like the rest of the population, are becoming less religious.

Finally, even if Hispanics did not become far less Catholic when they immigrate to the United States, they are currently on 16% of the population, so even if we had a massive immigration that allowed in a million people from Mexico to immigrate each year over the next 30 years (and all of them lived or had US offspring before they died), that would only be 30 million more Hispanics which would only increase their size as a minority to around 25%. Plus, you have to remember that the 16% who are already here are having kids who are becoming increasingly less Catholic with each generation.

The trend is that people are becoming less religious - not just for Catholicism, but for all religions, and I don't think even an enormous immigration of predominately Catholic Hispanics is going to significantly change the culture.

It is the information age, and it is just too easy to go online and look up the history of any given religion, to compare various culture's religions to one another, or to learn the sociology behind why civilizations create religions. Plus, there is less and less social stigma around stating that you are agnostic or atheist. . . there is still a stigma which is why so many people identify as part of a religion culturally but do not actually practice it accept at weddings or funerals.

Anyway, I'm not trying to be a downer, and I hope none of this hurt your feelings. It is certainly okay to want the United States to embrace your religion and to adopt the policies of countries that are heavily influenced by that religion - but I think you know it isn't going to happen, so if you really are pro-life and want as few abortions to occur as possible, you should vote for Democrats who believe in teaching sex education and providing contraception to young people.
