Hip-fire & eSports

Honestly I don't really agree with the popularity argument.

i never made any, someone said 'it will be popular so it will work' and i pointed out that there are loads of popular games that failed as esports. also, i'll be amazed if PubG has a real competitive scene, having watched their exhibition.

LoL has a constant balance issues (more or less important, depending on the patch), with around half of the roster picked on some tourneys, but it has been the most popular eSport for quite a while.

yes, because it's being constantly rebalanced to keep the (otherwise fairly simple) meta fresh. they aren't trying to deal with an unbalanced game, they are trying to keep it fun for the players. i thought everyone knew these was why esports mobas are patched.

There are companies trying to onves on a competitive D2 team already just because it will be really popular game.

punters, chancers. i could see streamers doing well though. a game can sell record numbers and fail as an esport.
