I haven't. If you're interested, here's some further details:
I'm waiting for final requirements and an HTML prototype using jQuery, Knockout.js, and Bootstrap 3. The preference would be to use these for the front-end of the application, and save a little effort, if possible. As mentioned before, it's an RSS/content aggregator and curator, in the same vein as Feedly and Flipboard. Here is the feature list as it stands right now:
• White label/on-site customization options
• User Admin/Management
○ Create accounts
○ Reset password
○ Update account details
○ Suspend/unsuspend account
○ Create demo accounts
• Feature/License Management
○ Group features together into a "package" - there is a default/minimum of 1 package
○ Frequency of content polling, per license type
○ RSS Aggregation - admin # of feeds a user can poll
○ Content Discovery - admin # of and which content channels are available for a user to search
○ Content Tagging (collections) - admin # of collections a user can have per license
○ Shared collections - admin whether this feature is available to users of a license, # of shared collections in a license, etc.
○ Feed sources (# per license type can be set in admin) - adding sources of feeds outside of discovery
○ Search for content via keyword (across sources)
○ Shared knowledge boards - how many boards for a given license? How much content? How many markups (annotations and highlights?)
• RSS Aggregation
○ Add content either via copy/paste of RSS url, or by discovering it within the app
• Content Discovery
• Content Collections
○ Sharable collections
• Content Tagging
• Search for content via keyword (across sources)
• Shared knowledge boards - Cherry pick specific content for sharing and add:
○ Shared annotations
○ Shared highlights
• Profile management
I have approx. 210 hours to get it done in, with an expected delivery in 5 - 6 weeks after development starts. The offers I am getting are between $12USD - $17USD hourly, and that's now what I am aiming for.
Based on this information, is this a project you'd be interested in? Is this a project you feel you could complete successfully within the 210 hours I've got for it? Are there any examples of your work from the past that I could have a look at? Worked with all the required tech? Do you have the time to commit to a project like this over the next 2 months (what's your availability)? How would you feel working with additional developers on this project?
I should have all the artifacts (better requirements and HTML prototype, basically) in hand in approx. 1 - 1.5 weeks from now.
Thanks for being in touch!
