Florida Field Organizer: Top Targeted Statewide Campaign

Top tier statewide campaign in Florida is seeking full-time Field Organizers for an aggressive organizing and paid canvassing program. Field Organizers will be responsible for executing the statewide field plan.

Florida is a battleground state, with top target campaigns for Democrats nationally and statewide. Our goal will be to provide a robust field operation in the state of Florida.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for extensive direct voter contact, including phone calls and canvassing.
• Will serve on the front lines of a statewide get out the vote effort to boost progressives up and down the ballot.
• Community organizing experience preferred but not required.
• Ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.
• Ensuring that all required reporting is accurate and timely and that all regional data is entered on time.
• Representing the campaign at community events and meetings when advised by the campaign.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic computer literacy, database skills, and access to a reliable portable computer.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment.
• Must have reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Strong coaching skills and abilities.
• Winning Mentality
• Bilingual experience is a plus, but not required.
