The Historical Accuracy of Battlefield 5

Spot on. Battlefield has never been a beacon of historical accuracy (and the people objecting don't really care about that anyway) and it just does more harm than good trying to argue otherwise.

We have to remember that DICE once released an expansion pack in their first WW2 game which was entirely about whacky secret weapons, including a fucking jetpack. The multiplayer in this series has never attempted to be an immersive and somber reflection on the tragedy of war. It is an arcade shooter that would make Michael Bay blush.

Embrace the truth and question people who are trying to reframe the history of the series in order to justify their criticism.
