it's literally brought up in every single thread about anything japan. What your korean friends don't tell you is that kids are taught to resent the japanese at a very early age.

The japanese government definitely hasn't done enough to acknowledge the atrocities. It's filled with stupid, racist old men who refuse to change and like to stick their heads in the sand, but korea's government also riles people up to get out the vote and hide scandal.

If you want a comparison (if you're in the US), go to a pioneer history museum and see how much floorspace they dedicate to the suffering of the native americans and the atrocities committed by the US army. Thats the level of whitewashing you're dealing with.
