It's mostly the poorest parts of the world that are making more babies. (For comparison, the white race is the only race that's facing population decline worldwide, and some of the other wealthy non-white countries like Japan or South Korea are also declining in population. Likewise, as China became wealthier in the recent years, they've recently started seeing population decline as well.)

I've always opposed the idea of sending financial aids to poor African countries, international adoption from poor countries and uncontrolled mass immigration and refugee influx since I was very young for this very reason. While we people in well-off countries are controlling our population growth, poor countries are irresponsibly having several kids per family, disregarding the unsustainability of such lifestyle and aggravating the problem of overpopulation. People often accuse me of being racist for saying this, but it really has nothing to do with race; it has to with sustainability and overpopulation.

It also frustrates me when people in wealthy countries that are seeing population decline call for more immigration to make up for the loss of workforce instead of thinking of reducing our consumption or any other better solution.
