I took a look at it again, and I realized the wording can be interpreted in different ways.

Under all 'Fighting Style' for every class (including fighter) it says word per word (for fighter it's page 72), "...You can't take a fighting style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again." The first sentence for each class is slightly different, so I can't quote the beginnings.

It could either mean that you can't choose another fighting style option even if you can from multiclassing. I assumed that was the case due to the Champion subclass ability 'Additional Fighting Style' which you mentioned. That or it could be that you can't take the same thing, (such as taking Archery twice).

TL;DR : It could go either way due to the way it's worded.
