Hit on a girl in front of her man

This is why most rural Southern people don’t like city people, you’re full of assumptions and false equivalencies.

City person responding here — I hope you didn’t say all that expecting no one would have anything to say back. Most rural people don’t explain themselves or their lifestyles like this. I’ve never lived in a rural area, so all I have to go on are assumptions about what your life is like, unless you explain it to me. And I’ve met folks from rural places who have no idea what city life is like, and act as if they’re still in the rural area they came from, where everyone has been through the same stuff and knows what that’s like. They come to the city and act as if everyone is still the same as them, and are too intimidated by the cultural differences to speak up and do something to resolve them. Then they act like no one accepts them, when it’s really that they have no idea how to exist in a diverse space full of people from different backgrounds, and they won’t speak up and admit that in order to make a change. Instead they judge the city folk and run back to their spaces of homogenous comfort, throwing all the blame on city folk instead of understanding their own ignorance of other ways of life.
