Hitler was very smart and an excellent strategist ( I still hate what he did though)

Reminds me of one of the stories my family told me of our ancestor's battles. There was a village that robbed merchants and travelers along a road to Troy and my ancestor led an attack against the village. Every woman was given a bucket and ordered to repay the victims with water jugs equal in weight to every item they ever stole. The village claimed it would leave their well dry and refused so my ancestor threw the women in the well and executed the men.

Eventually the event was exaggerated and turned into a myth such as the villagers turning into frogs after refusing to give water to my family. Though honestly I think people just wanted a good story to tell at the tavern. Not sure what happened afterwards as much of our family history is lost during Rome's conquest of neighboring tribes.
