Hiv+, looking for advice/someone to talk to and to rant

I understand your worries and concerns with regards to stigma and dating.

You know what? You'll probably end up being pleasantly surprised by just how many guys are really educated on the topic of HIV these days, and many understand the whole "U = U" thing. Many guys are on PrEP these days, too, which takes away a lot of their own anxieties around "catching the virus".

I for one would be very comfortable and happy with dating an HIV+ guy. I take PrEP and I understand U = U and I am very well-read up on HIV. I would never, ever not date a guy just because he was HIV+. Actually, now that I think about it, it would be quite nice to have an HIV+ boyfriend so that I could make sure he receives the love he deserves and ensure he doesn't feel he is any less worthy of or incapable of receiving love and affection.
