Oh my goodness that sounds awful. Ridiculous and traumatizing. My hospital only had a rule of, you have to pass gas before being allowed to leave. They also never gave anything stronger than Advil so thankfully the meds never made anything worse. Did you hospital not give stool softener? Mine gave them to me once or twice a day, I can't remember. I've also seen people recommend taking them a day or 2 before a scheduled c section, wouldn't work for unplanned ones tho. If you aren't already I'd start taking some now until your more healed. Dot want anymore painful poops!!

But I'm SO sorry you had To go through that, it sounds awful. Don't let it scare you away from having another tho!
