If you intend to commit suicide, would you explicitly state those intentions knowing it would result in measures by the jail to prevent it? And of course, it’s possible he lied and/or changed his mind. Again, I’m not saying “people” didn’t benefit from his death. And even a high profile case doesn’t magically mean terrible jail conditions would improve.

“Oh, here comes Epstein! Let’s fix those cameras!”

“Why? He said he doesn’t have suicidal thoughts.”

“Good point. Let’s nap.”

I mean, I’m being silly obviously but a camera not working is when a man determined to die would kill himself, is it not?

I understand that it’s a tempting conspiracy theory, but what gets under my skin is the glib “Epstein didn’t kill himself” which goes far beyond entertaining a theory and into a statement of fact that rules out any possibility but that theory.
