Thank you, I was wavering slightly on attending but told him clearly I won’t be going. This is not the first time he has played this card last year it was his grandma dying so we had to go over spring, summer, thanksgiving, and Christmas. I pay for the costs when we go over as RT is in school and doesn’t have any money. I work in tech in a high cost city so my entire paycheck goes into supporting us. I agreed on this but that means my “vacation money” goes to seeing his family. This summer I had to take 2 weeks to babysit his sister due to the kids and spent a ton of money for flights and hotels and living while there this happened twice. This was due to her kids school calling with the oldest 10 was walking solo to school and the youngest 6 was not going in due to her sleeping in with mom. I definitely won’t take his family advice we are supposed to see a counselor tomorrow to go over this.
