I was feeling jolly this season. I am a nurse, I have to work Christmas. Thats ok I am used to it and was still feeling jolly. We have influenza where I work and everyone is in isolation. Thats allright, part of the job, still feeling jolly. We have dead patients and familly crying around. Thats ok, part of the job, I will still feel jolly when I get home to my familly. We are understaffed and have to do more work than usual and barely can take 5 min to eat. No break of any kind. Thats suck but I will feel jolly when I get to my familly. I just got told that there is noone to replace me when I finish and I have to stay for 8 more hours. Coming home at midnight instead of 4. My jolly's gone. I am left with sick patients, sad patients and familly and angry coworker.

Merry Christmas. I just finished my sandwich. Have to go back.
