So Home Depot has children working for them now

I don’t support child labor by any means. I don’t know that I even support anyone under 18 working.

I’ve also worked at two separate Home Depots (and know managers in many other stores, as well as multiple members of district management teams). I’ve personally done interviews for new hires. Home Depot gets along just fine squeezing their labor force to inflate their stock price. Hiring underage workers is not a risk corporate would ever willfully allow. It’s an unnecessary risk for one of the biggest companies in America that operates in all 50 states. I’m not defending them as a company, but I promise you that if they’re hiring under the age of 16, that is a local manager circumventing company policy and they likely wouldn’t get away with it for very long.
