He sounds just like my brother and his friends and they are all 100% full of shit when they talk about bettering their lives. They will take huge sums of money from you under the guise of getting their lives together then go spend it on drugs and come back asking for more. These people need help but giving them money is a waste of time and they are full of excuses.

They may or may not want a better life but the fact is most of them aren't really trying hard to make that happen. This dude in the clip is high as a kite and it's "expensive to live" for him because he spends a ton of money on heroin. The sob story about his family cutting him off out of the blue for no reason is almost definitely total nonsense.
