Potassium chloride is potentially fatal. If a child ingests this or gets into that bag, they die with their whole oesphagus burned through with metal salts.

My medically administered potassium chloride drip ‘tissued’ my vein. As in four weeks later tye strength of the burn from the salt still causes the vein to not open properly and my whole arm to hurt.

And that was the fun bit. The suspected heart attack at 42? The bit where they checked my bloods every two hours of the six hour drip and the levels changed so fast they put the crash cart next to me? That was a low point on a day when I’d had a pulmonary embolism already.

Take this post down. Your recipe is harmful. Your recipe is going to kill or traumatise someone because a potassium induced heart issue can sometimes only give you moments to live. Sometimes you’ll die agonisingly slowly.

Take the potassium out, take the post down and stop giving such ill educated inaccurate advice. This is not a joke. I have six months of cardiac testing to go through now.

I am not overweight, have no heart issues and the potassium was safely adminstered. But it is just so dangerous even hospitals have to triple check it.

The safety info you need to add if you keep this post up is NEVER ALTER YOUR POTASSIUM LEVELS UNLESS SUPERVISED BY A DOCTOR.

And this tip isn’t even frugal. That bag of potassium chloride cost way more than Gatorade would or branded rehydration salts presumably because what with it being fatal and illegal, the seller marks up the price...
