I'm not saying it should be censored, just that it shouldn't be there if this is only because we are in 2017 and we need gays everywhere. Midnight Cowboy was a controvertial movie because it had a gay scene, but the scene was totally relevant to the plot, unlike that gay kiss out of nowhere in the last Star Wars. If it's irrelevant to the plot, then it's just irrelevant. You don't need to make a character for every minority out there. Because that's how you end up dumbing down everybody and everything.

I don't see homosexual relationships with the same scope as I see heterosexual relationships. Homosexuality is a paraphilia, often due to childhood stuff like being raised by a single mother with no paternal figure. If you are attracted to something or someone you can't procreate with, there is something wrong with your sexuality. If homosexuality has to be represented everywhere, then next steps are neocrophiles, pedophiles and zoophiles ?

Being gay and keeping it private (because sexuality has to stay something private even in the Kardashian era) is ok, showing off in BDSM outfits on the streets in front of children is pure degeneracy.
