Honest thoughts on Lonzo Ball

Lonzo doesn't utilize the minutes he has. The amount of slack he gets as a player is amazing. On his best nights, he's a decent role player. On his worst nights, he's basically invisible on the court.

I think that people are in complete denial now. His defense is good, but I mean, it's not like he's a defensive stopper. Opposing PGs still go off. Is someone really going to contend that the Lakers are happy with his production so far?

The Lakers did not want to use their number 2 pick on a guard who can throw a quick outlet pass, can play defense, but can't do anything else really well at all.

I understand and hope he starts to produce but this "give Lonzo more minutes!" thing is absurd. Luke said at the start of the season that players will need earn their time and Lonzo hasn't earned major time over Rondo imo
