Honestly I can hardly fucking hear Earl on his new material most of the time.

Some Rap Songs, this is my theory and not confirmed but I like the way I interpret it. Shattered dreams is him realizing this whole rap shit is just a Dream of his, he’s telling everyone not to pinch him, he doesn’t wanna face the reality that he might just not be the greatest rapper. He shows this with how he produces the songs on the album. On the Mint he mentions “Tip toeing over glass”... each song is a piece of the Shattered Dream. It’s weird because these songs don’t come together as a whole but his lyrics brings them together. You listen to December 24 and you can tell he can mix songs that we can actually listen to but on Nowhere2go, the sample is too loud and the mixing is terrible. This is a sign that he’s doing it on purpose. You don’t think Earl could mix each instrumental to be under his vocals? We are use to hearing a Rap over a Beat. This dude made a song where he took a Beat over a Rap. I see each song as a Rap intertwined with the Beat. Just a vessel of music, a mood, production on this is suppose to be a feeling. But the theory everyone is familiar with is the album is him on a bad acid trip. So to rap it up cause I’m typing to much but, Veins is the song before the last song With his parents. I know Peanut and Riot! Are after that song but he stated in an interview, the last song was Playing Possum but his dad died and he added Peanut and then his Uncle passed away so he added Riot!. These aren’t apart of the story, I see these as Post Some Rap Songs. Veins is him accepting the reality of it, of all of it, every feeling he went thru, every friend he lost, everything. The sample he used was cut but the sample goes “Now My heart’s suffering”. The bad acid he took, he has to deal with that for the rest of his life. So if you wanna take that and believe that FOC was fucked up because he’s mental is really fucked then the theory gets better cause you understand East is weird, his vocals are still fucked on some songs but that’s just looking at it on a surface level. Shattered dreams is him looking at the pieces on the floor (each song). Veins is him a metaphor that each song is a vein to his heart and he doesn’t care if it sounds bad because he enjoys them. Playing possum is signifies only his parent’s opinions matter and these people are the only people we have in our lives after he lost all his homies, his mom and dad were still there for him. I freestyled all that, I HAVE to make a more detailed summary about this but I failed English so my writing is bad and I have adhd so I don’t know how to string each idea together to make it cohesive. FOC bearly came out but I’ll find a theory in there that will make me appreciate it, it takes time.
