I honestly don't get how you can live in China if this video is true? (https://youtu.be/qUSoR5X26GA?t=245)

If you're in the country side of China, there's a chance that you'll see your dinner still walking around before you eat it and a lot of super markets have the same products that you have at home. I.E: Coke is still coke and Japanese udon from x brand is still x brand. You should think of it more like the 1970s of the U.S and Europe in terms of food standards. Although, there is an argument to be made against U.S food standards compared to Europe given that the brexit process has a lot of people in opposition to U.S food standards which Stephen Fry narrates.

The biggest concern with street food is hygiene not the produce itself.
