Oh boy do I have a story for you! I had worked as a Waste Water Engineer at a Government run treatment plant in Texas. We also serviced outlying cities that were fairly small therefore couldn't afford many municipalities workers. Now some of these workers thinks they're hot shit (no pun intended) because it's only a dozen guys that do legitimately handle a myriad of jobs, however it's still not that many nor is it labor intensive since there isn't much to look after due to the fact it's a small town. Small towns, small amounts of poop. We were called during a monsoon like rain event, we had to assist at a plant that had its main inflow damaged and restricting flow which if not fixed would cause a poo-nado to come from the 5 man hole covers in the town. Basically in a lot of small towns in America during the infrastructure boom of the 1950s they received state of the art technology, however for one reason or another the town never grew, so the infrastructure system was never updated because there was no need. This plant serviced a town of 4000, plus the only highschool for about 3 smaller towns, about 350 kids, 75 kids per grade. So were setting up diversion pumps, moving temporary piping around, building temporary gravel roads for heavy equipment, everyone is busting ass. We had to dig up the main discharge and fix what had caused it to backup, like a plugged toilet. Usually when we get a heavy rain event it'll dislodge trash in the gutters or cause this 50 year old 48 cast iron pipe that's rusted to shit collapse. We had a good idea what was going on. It's going on hour 14, we can't stop, we'd get guys to fill in for us around the 16th hour, so only 2 hours. But we're so close to fixing it! One of the locals has there back how with an arm, he's dug down, saw the pipe, slightly caved on side (trying to be hot shit) releasing a smell that would cause a skunk to shit his fur, it was awful. It was a rookie mistake even though he'd worked there 10 years, just not much experience. So everyone is pissed, the site boss tells Lil Bobby (he's 5'2, mid 50s, a deep Canadian accent weird because he's from far north Michigan) get his back hoe and fix this god damn problem, the site boss was pissed because this caused are job to get harder. Give him 10 minutes and he'd be over it. Well the dude who fucked it up rather than apologizing "man I'm sorry I was trying to hurry and it got away from me" which would of been totally cool. He fucking starts in about how this is his plant, it's his job, this his bullshit blah blah blah. Bad idea. Suddenly Lil Bob motions to the boss to climb up to the cab, you can seem talking and pointing, they see the obstruction, just pull it out, relay a new treated concrete pipe, sleeve with a pressure ring to connect it, boom! Done. So the site boss tells the dick sniffer "hey stand right to the left of that flow meter, so you can see how to fix it" . Well dick sniffer gets all offended when really we were trying to help him, he felt that no one can tell him his job. So he turns his back to Lik Bob, all pouty and shit. I see site boss make eye contact with Lil Bob, they both did a head nod. Lil Bob is getting at it, he's fixing this stoppage pretty quick, well it comes time to scoop out whatever's caused this. Usually old ass tampons that are flushable, leaves, few dead animals like a feral hog occasionally. Dick sniffer with his back still turned is poutin' up a storm, well here comes the arm out of the discharge pipe clean out hole (there's a hole designed for this reason that is broken open when replacing the pipe for quick access and replacement) as the arm comes up with the 2ft X 4ft bucket its dripping all this shitty debris that's so old it's turned black and began to fossilize. Lil Bob positions the bucket right over dick sniffer, aaaaand release. Roughly 50 gallons of old west style shit just showed dick sniffer... It, it was bad. I briefly felt bad, then I remember what a dick sniffer he was. He promptly walked to the showers like a mix of The Toxic Avenger and Swamp thing.... Cue 4 months later we had to come back for another job to assist on, dick sniffer was fired after all that time. For having his mom call him in sick the next day, at 43 having his mom call. One of the many rules you can not give anyone any phone numbers to anyone at work because hey it's a branch of the federal government, there's a special voice mail for calling in which he had his mom do once already and got written up for... And that's my tale of a asshole of a man taking a shit shower.
