Yes, you have every right to voice how your point, however what you are failing to understand is that you can't criticise us and call "spam" for the fact that the community is posting links to our content and subsequently upvoting it.

As for our own posts, nothing is "sponsored", like you have your right to voice your opinion, we have the right to post what we feel the community may find interesting. If it's not, things wouldn't have been upvoted and the mods would have criticised us, which we would accept, however this has been the opposite for both in this instance. We would completely understand if this wasn't the case.

Besides that, nobody is forcing you to click on the links and we don't see why seeing our website on Reddit is any different than seeing other fan sites that have links to them shared on here too, such as PlanetPhillip/RTSL and even ValveTime. Maybe you could explain why you feel that there is a problem seeing a Half-Life fansite being posted to a Half-Life subreddit? Why is this any different from any other subreddit, such as seeing BBC or CNN on r/news frequently? You should be grateful that we have so many individually focused sites on the topic serving the community, not all games do, it shows how powerful Half-Life and we should celebrate that.

Also, the fact that you have also brought your relation with ValveTime into this, we find disappointing of you. As I hope you are aware, we have been supporting ValveTime in the form of sidebar banners, article footer links and across our social media sites for some time, it would be nice to see some recognition from yourself individually regarding this, rather than continuing to criticise us on irrelevant grounds. We're just Half-Life fans, trying to share our passion about it, let's just keep things cool and work together, not make a big deal out of things like this.
