You called him a hookup so my guess is that is all he is. Reading into his body language isn’t gonna tell you how he really feels, because everyone does things for different reasons. I have had a man stare deep into my eyes as he came, tell me I’m the hottest girl he’s ever had sex with, and then never talk to me again.

I would say that there is something that he is uncomfortable with whether it is eye contact in general, or during sex, or being too intimate with you. He was probably looking at your face because you have a pretty face he likes to look at lol. But when you turn to look at him the eye contact makes him uncomfortable for one reason or another.

The hand holding and making it through the whole movie sounds a little more feelingsish, but all the rest sounds like a hookup. If you want to know if he has feelings for you, then ask him. Because otherwise you’re gonna keep picking apart his every move for an eternity and miss out on a man who willingly makes eye contact with you.
