You're mistaking maturity for contradiction. I understand that I don't have a magic wand that will take away all your guns, and I doubt I'll live to see a constitutional amendment that will repeal 2A. I wish I did.

That being said, like the Supreme Court before me, I think we can and should regulate 2A. Society is better off with limited access to machineguns and explosives. I'd prefer more legislation regarding background checks and databases, and I think laws such as that will be passed in the not so distant future. I was letting you guys know, ahead of time, because every time I bring up anything about guns, some fuck attacks the strawman he sees in my place by telling me that assault rifles is just a term made up by the media and that there are semi-automatic rifles with the same magazine capacity and fire rate as the AR15. I'm aware of what the AR15 is, and I'd gladly support a bill restricting semi-automatic rifles based on capacity to kill, rather than their "scary color".
