Horizon Forbidden West's photo mode is just stunning

dude, you're still just injecting your highly personal abstract opinion of "X good, Y worse, because vague reasons I don't actually go into detail of".

but it’s all highly polished and well integrated gameplay and every bit of content you find feels unique and brings new gameplay challenges. The changes they made add to the formula or diminish former flaws.

this says absolutely nothing besides "I like the game".

HFW brings the same gameplay but with more decorations and bearing all the same flaws of the last game. Its world is bigger, but most of the stuff in it isn’t going to feel new or unique after you see it for the 10th time; it’s only the setting that changes.

this does say "the world is bigger and I think many things are repetitive" (not a criticism of Elden Ring that literally has the same boss show up 5+ times in many cases, for some reason and even uses regular mobs with a bigger health bar as bosses at times), but besides that "the same flaws of the last game" is still just an abstract piece of text that actually means nothing besides "I didn't think it was good".

Because it took a well polished formula and ran with it to perfection on an insane scale, whereas HFW took a mediocre formula and didn’t bother to polish it while copying their work to fill up space.

once again, literal abstract statement that boils down to "I think X is perfection, Y is mediocre".

I think Elden Ring was an amazing game too, I just think you're really not making any argument as to why besides "I felt it was better".
