Hospitals warn they can’t cope if coronavirus outbreak worsens in Canada

However, Washington State (which borders Canada) has now said the disease is endemic in King County, meaning the average person likely has it or has had contact with it.

You don't seem to know the difference between endemic and epidemic, or what either of those words even mean!

"Of the 58 cases, 34 are residents of or associated with Life Care Center of Kirkland. Eighteen are residents, six are staff, and 10 are visitors or family members. Of the 11 deaths reported, ten are associated with Life Care Center."

Of the 2.2 million residents of King County that are not associated with the affected seniors home, there have been 24 confirmed cases and 1 death. Whether you call that an outbreak or an epidemic (it's certainly not "endemic"), claiming that "the average person likely has it or has had contact with it" is absurd.
