Not everything in this thread is remotely a joke, and it's kind of sad you think that because you agree with the hate train.

Here is just a list I compiled of very clearly non-satirical attacks on farmers without having any clue on how the industry works.

"Or farming equipment that costs 100s of thousands of dollars." - In reference to them spending their relief money. Not at all satirical and a very real comment that people seem to think that farmers actually buy new equipment most of the time.

"Then they should get out of the business if it's super unprofitable, not get handouts from the rest of the country." - Not satirical in the slightest.

"And a new combine, implement barn, new cadilac for mama, a new pair of rubber boots and she has to have the latest hoodie." - A poorly written satirical comment maybe, but most likely just another comment on the hate train against farmers based on a select group of shitty farmers.

Look, obviously my 90% was an exaggeration, but let's not pretend there isn't a deep-rooted disdain for the Republican base in the Midwest in this thread.

I'm not trying to defend every single farmer, I'm just trying to defend the idea that every time farmers receive relief it's not a handout that came directly out of your pocket.
